Small Groups Pastor

 

Pastor Gene has a degree in Broadcast Journalism/Communications and came to know the Lord at a young age. Since then he has been involved in church ministry in San Joaquin County for the past 25 years.  His calling is to minister to people through mentoring and caring for each other. Loving God and loving your neighbor feeds his family's mantra "Do what's put in front of you."  He created and helped develop "The Lisa Project" a traveling exhibit about child abuse prevention and works to help eradicate this problem in society.

 

He is married to Lindy who partners with him in ministry as well as being the Executive Director of the Child Abuse Prevention Council in Stockton. Together their blended family makes up a small village totaling 6 kids, Jake, Megan, Kate, Nick, Abby & Josh.
